DuBois Girls Season Comes to a Close with Loss to Hollidaysburg in D6/8/9 Semifinals

HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. – Marin Miller led a trio of Hollidaysburg players in double digits with 22 points, as the top-seeded Lady Tigers ran past visiting and fourth-seeded DuBois, 69-17, in the District 6/8/9 Class 5A girls’ semifinals.

Alison Hatajik added 15 points and Syndey Lear 13 in the win.

Hollidaysburg (22-1) led 22-7 at the end of the first quarter and 42-8 at halftime.

Madison Rusnica paced DuBois (10-13) with six points.

Hollidaysburg will face Obama Academy in the championship game at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at Mount Aloysius.

OSWAYO VALLEY 41, GALETON 34

GALETON, Pa. – Jenna Freer led a balanced attack for visiting Oswayo Valley in a 41-34 season-ending NTL victory over Galeton.

Charlotte Austin-Keech and Jadyn Fleischman each added eight points for the Green Wave with Mackenzie Messler adding seven.

Olivia Rohrbaugh paced Galeton with 13 points with Alli Macensku adding 12.
