BROCKWAY, Pa. – District 9 released its 2023 softball playoff brackets with St. Marys, Curwensville, and DuBois Central Catholic earning top seeds.
St. Marys is the top seed in a two-team Class 4A bracket, Curwensville is the top dog in a seven-team Class 2A tournament, and DCC is at the top of the bracket in a six-team Class 1A field.
Punxsutawney will play in a Class 3A subregional with District 5 that includes four teams with seeding to be determined after games Friday, while DuBois will play in a subregional in Class 5A with the Lady Beavers playing District 8 in a semifinal contest.
