BROOKVILLE, Pa. – District 9 released its football playoff brackets Saturday afternoon with Redbank Valley (Class 1A), Karns City (Class 2A), and Clearfield (Class 3A) earning No. 1 seeds (there was no seeding in Class 4A).
Class 1A will be a seven-team tournament starting Friday, Nov. 5, Class 2A will be a four-team bracket starting Friday, Nov. 12 or Saturday, Nov. 13, Class 3A will be a two-team championship game Friday, Nov. 5, and Class 4A will consist of four teams with action getting underway Friday, Nov. 5.
