The Saint Vincent College women’s basketball team won their second Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship in three years, defeating a familiar foe, the Washington & Jefferson Presidents by a score of 65-61.
Kane grad Ella Marconi, Keystone alum Taylor Geer and former Curwensville standout Madison Weber all played key roles in the victory.
Marconi, a 2019 Kane graduate, was the leading scorer for the Bearcats with 17 points while also adding eight rebounds. Geer, a junior, tallied eight points, four steals and three rebounds, while the sophomore Weber had six points.
On the season, Marconi is second on the team in scoring at 12.0 ppg., while Geer checks in at 10.1 ppg. and Weber 8.9 ppg.
