MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The PIAA and District 10 have announced updates for times, dates, and locations for the 2021 football playoffs for the weekend of Nov. 19 and Nov. 20.
In District 10, the Class 3A title game between Slippery Rock and Grove City will be played at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at Slippery Rock University’s Bob DiSpirito Field at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.
In subregional Class 6A action, McDowell will travel to Cupples Stadium in Pittsburgh for a 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, game against Allderdice.
PIAA action sees action in Classes 1A, 2A, 4A, and 5A.
In 1A action, D10 champion Reynolds will face D5 champion Northern Bedford at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at Greenville High School.
In 2A play, D10 champion Farrell will take on Westinghouse of the Pittsburgh City League at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at Cupples Stadium in Pittsburgh.
In 4A action, D10 champion Meadville will host D6 champion Juniata at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20.
In 5A play, D10 champion Cathedral Prep will take on D11 champion East Stroudsburg South at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at Bald Eagle Area High School.
District 9 announced on Saturday that its Class 1A title game between Union/A-C Valley and Redbank Valley will be played at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at Clarion University’s Memorial Stadium, and its Class 2A title game between Ridgway and Karns City will be played at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at Brockway’s Varischetti Field.
