WARREN, Pa. – PIAA Class 1A champion Maplewood has three members on the PVCA All-District 10 Class 1A volleyball all-star team as voted on by the PVCA member coaches.
Class 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A squad(s) were named.
Representing Maplewood on the Class 1A first team were Libero McKenna Crawford, outside hitter Sadie Thomas, and setter Bailey Varndell, while middle hitter Elizabeth Hunter was a second-team choice.
Joining the Tiger players on first-team Class 1A were West Middlesex’s Kennedy Beatty and Cochranton’s Dana Jackson and Devyn Sokol.
Corry and D10 champion North East each had a pair of players on the first-team Class 2A squad with Corry being represented by Tayler Elchysnki and McKenna Moore and North East by Cadence Jones and Grace Sanfilippo. They are joined on the first team by Saegertown’s Brywn McLaughlin and Mercyhurst Prep’s Addica Sperry.
In Class 3A, champion Conneaut had a pair of honorees as did Warren and Meadville on the first team.
Representing the Eagles were Kaylee Mattera and Sylvia Prebor, while the Dragons placed Kylie Fehlman and Summer Lucks on the squad.
Joining those four are Meadville’s Emma Parks and Elliott Schleicher.
In Class 4A, McDowell had the only three players honored including Alyssa Radtke, Jocelyn Teresi, and Macy Testa.
A second team was also named in Class 1A and Class 3A while second and third teams were named in Class 2A.
