GIRLS

BRADFORD 43, JOHNSONBURG 38, OVERTIME

BRADFORD, Pa. – Bradford outscored visiting Johnsonburg 8-3 in overtime to pick up a 43-38 non-conference win.

Johnsonburg forced the extra session when Annasophia Stauffer hit one of two free throws with just under three seconds left in regulation to tie the gamer at 35.

                                      

That came after Bradford’s Riley Cleveland had scored on an offensive rebound to put the Lady Owls up 35-34 with just under 30 seconds to play.

Alanna Benson led Bradford with 12 points with Kalie Dixon adding eight and Carli Persichini seven.

Kaci Stelene paced Johnsonburg with 14 points with Stauffer adding 13.

REDBANK VALLEY 68, CLARION-LIMESTONE 46

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Freshman Mylee Harmon continued her strong play with 16 points to help Redbank Valley beat visiting Clarion-Limestone, 68-46, in KSAC Large School action.

                          

Harmon scored 11 of her points in the first half to help the Lady Bulldogs take a four-point, 35-31 halftime lead.

Redbank Valley then outscored C-L 31-15 in the second half thanks in part to eight points from Caylen Rearick, who finished with 11tallies.

Madison Foringer led Redbank Valley with a team-high 18 points, including 12 before the half.

Kendall Dunn scored a game-high 20 points for C-L with Frances Milliron adding 14.

KARNS CITY 59, CRANBERRY 15

KARNS CITY, Pa. – Abby Callihan had 13 points and six steals to lead Karns City to a 59-15 home win in KSAC Large School action over Cranberry.

Callihan was one of 11 Lady Gremlins to score with Emma Dailey, Emma Johns, and Cameryn Booher each adding eight points.

Ayanna Ferringer led Cranberry with seven points.

MONITEAU 57, KEYSTONE 37

WEST SUNBURY, Pa. – Catherine Kelly led a trio of Moniteau players in double digits with a game-high 18 points in a 57-37 win over visiting Keystone in KSAC Large School action.

                                   

Davina Pry added 13 points, nine rebounds, and five blocked shots for the Lady Warriors who also got 10 points from Allie Pry.

In addition, Moniteau saw Abbey Jewart add eight points and Victoria Pry two points and a team-best 10 rebounds.

Natalie Bowser scored a team-high 17 points for Keystone.

VENANGO CATHOLIC 44, A-C VALLEY 15

FOXBURG, Pa. – Lily Homan netted a game-best 21 points and three steals to lead visiting Venango Catholic to a 44-15 win over A-C Valley in KSAC Small School action.

Alyson Stewart added six points and eight rebounds for the Lady Vikings with Marriah Wessell and Kennedy Liederback each dishing out three assists and Morgan Wessell scoring six points.

Baylee Blauser led A-C Valley with 11 points.

UNION 45, CLARION 25

RIMERSBURG, Pa. – Outscoring visiting Clarion 27-5 in the second half including shutting out the Lady Cats in the fourth quarter, Union picked up a come-from-behind 45-25 win in KSAC Small School action.

Clarion led 20-18 at halftime but went cold from the field in the second half managing just two baskets.

Meanwhile, Hailey Kriebel hit three of her four 3-pointers after halftime and scored nine of her 17 points after the break for Union.

Also for the Golden Damsels, Keira Croyle added 15 points and Kennedy Vogle seven allowing them to win despite 1,000-point scorer Dominika Logue being held to just two points while being in foul trouble.

SMETHPORT 41, PORT ALLEGANY 36

SMETHPORT, Pa. – Smethport outscored visiting Port Allegany by 15 points in the first and third quarters combined and held on to beat the Lady Gators, 41-36, in NTL action

The Lady Hubbers outscored Port Allegany 15-7 in the first quarter and 12-5 in the third quarter but were outscored 10-5 in the second quarter and 14-9 in the fourth quarter.

                                  

Danielle Nelson led Smethport with 14 points and seven rebounds with Elizabeth Hungiville adding nine points and nine rebounds and Abby Lutz nine points. Sabrina Tanner climbed the ladder for a game-best 15 rebounds to go with three points, and Coryn McClain had six points and eight rebounds.

Ella Moser paced Port Allegany with 14 points with Kayleigha Dowell chipping in nine points.

BOYS

CLEARFIELD 50, HOLLIDAYSBURG 44

HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. – Cole Miller scored 22 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead Clearfield to a 50-44 Mountain League win at Hollidaysburg.

Ryan Gearhart added 16 points with Isakk Way chipping in 10 points and five rebounds.

Mason Goodman led Hollidaysburg with 12 points and Jacob Hileman added 11.

DUBOIS 60, CENTRAL MOUNTAIN 39

DUBOIS, Pa. – Cooch Husted exploded for 23 points to lead DuBois to a 60-39 win over visiting Central Mountain.

Al Pasternak added 12 points for the Beavers with Joey Foradora adding nine and Ryan Kovalyak chipped in eight.

Hayden Pardoe led Central Mountain with 12 points.

DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 37, MARION CENTER 19

MARION CENTER, Pa. – Jalen Kosko and Alec Srock combined for 22 points to lift visiting DuBois Central Catholic to a 37-19 win over Marion Center.

Kosko led the Cardinals with 12 points with Srock chipping in 10.

Vitalijs Petrof led Marion Center with eight points.

A-C VALLEY 64, CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS 51

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS, Pa. – A-C Valley outscored Cambridge Springs 29-8 in the fourth quarter to rally for a 64-51 in a D9/10 crossover game.

The Falcons trailed 43-35 going into the fourth, but Brody Dittman scored 13 of his game-high 17 points over the final eight minutes to aid in the comeback. Included in that effort were three fourth-quarter treys.

Alex Preston scored 14 points and Ryan Cooper 11 for the Falcons. Dittman had nine steals, Cooper eight rebounds, six assists, and 10 steals, Preston 11 rebounds, and Jay Clover seven rebounds and four blocks to go with his nine points.

Josh Reisenauer led a balanced offensive attack for Cambridge Springs, while Parker Schmidt added 10 and Ethan Counasse and Hunter Spaid nine each.
