MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The PIAA has announced the sites and times for Friday’s second round basketball playoff games involving District 9 and 10 teams in boys Class 1 and 4A and girls Class 2 and 3A.
Boys Brackets: Class 1A • Class 4A
Girls Brackets: Class 2A • Class 3A
District 10 teams will be in a pair of doubleheaders. At Sharon High School, (10-3) Cambridge Springs will meet (7-1) Neshannock in 2A girls action at 6 p.m. with a 4A boys game between Fairview and Lincoln Park scheduled to tip at 7:30 p.m.
Slippery Rock University will host a Class 3A girls doubleheader. (10-1) Greenville and (7-2) Freedom will get things started at 6 p.m. with (10-2) Lakeview and (7-1) North Catholic set for 7:30 p.m.
In Class 1A boys action, (9-2) DuBois Central Catholic meets (7-1) Bishop Canevin at Armstrong High School in Kittanning at 6 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. it will be a matchup of District 9 and 10 champions at Clarion University’s Tippin Gymnasium when (9-1) Elk County Catholic takes on (10-1) Farrell.
Also in girls Class 2A, (10-1) West Middlesex squares off against (6-3) Bellwood Antis at 6 p.m. at Hempfield High School in Greensburg.
