COCHRANTON, Pa. – Behind nine kills each from Carlie Beatty and Kennedy Beatty, second-seeded West Middlesex advanced in the District 10 Class 1A playoffs with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-18) win over seventh-seeded Erie Christian in the quarterfinals at Cochranton High School.
Emily Anthony added five kills for the Big Red, while Caitlin Stephens ran the offense with 29 set assists.
West Middlesex will take on third-seeded Saegertown in the semifinals.
