The Lady Tide had lost a 6-2 lead going to the fifth inning when Johnsonburg, the 2022 champion, scored two in the fifth and two more in the sixth to tie the game at six.

But in the seventh, Harzinski drew a lead-off walk and was moved to second by Shayanne Rudy. She then advanced to third on a wild pitch, and Natalie Wischuck reached on an infield single putting runners at the corners. Wischuck was then allowed to take second on defensive indifference before Olosky won the game.

Curwensville took a 2-0 lead in the first inning before Johnsonburg tied the game with two runs in the third.
