Corry’s Elchynski Named to AVCA All-America Watch List

   

LOUISVILLE, Kent. – Corry senior Libero Tayler Elchynski was recently named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association 2022 All-America Watch List.

In 2021, Elchynski led Corry with 367 digs, second on the team with serve receive passer rating, and third on
the team with 53 service aces. She was a second-team All-Region and second-team All-District in 2021.

Elchynski was one of 1,142 seniors recognized around the country and one of only 10 players
recognized in Pennsylvania.

The AVCA 2022 All-America Watch List is for the top rising seniors who have received recognition for
their outstanding volleyball play. These athletes must have won some type of recognition such as, but
not limited to, All-District, All-Region, All-State, PrepVolleyball Ranking List, USA HP Volleyball Team,
etc. All uncommitted athletes on the AVCA Phenom Watch List are invited by the AVCA to participate
in the Phenom College Preparatory Program. The Phenom Program is a weekend of events held in
conjunction with the AVCA Annual Convention and the NCAA DI National Championship. Since the
start of the Phenom Program, 80% of participating athletes end up on college rosters!
For the eleventh year, the AVCA will host the invitation-only AVCA Phenom College Preparatory
Program. Since the start of the Phenom Program, 80% of participating athletes end up on college
rosters! The 2022 AVCA Phenom College Prep Program will take place from December 15-17, 2022 in
Columbus, Ohio.
