NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Grove City College Women’s Soccer Player Emily White, a Fairview graduate, was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
White’s defensive work helped Grove City to a 2-0 week with a 1.00 goals-against average. Grove City allowed only 10 total shots in the two league wins. White had an assist Wednesday in a 3-0 win over Waynesburg, then tied Saturday’s match in the 55th minute by scoring a penalty kick goal as Grove City rallied by Saint Vincent, 3-2.
