KOSSUTH, Pa. – Clarion had a team score of 196 to win Tuesday’s KSAC mega match at Hi-Level.
North Clarion’s Zeeland Hargenrader had a 33 to earn medalist honors, beating a trio of golfers, Clarion’s Kam Kerle and McKayla Kerle, as well as Cranberry’s Cayden Baker by three strokes.
Also shooting in the 30s was Clarion’s Devon Lauer and North Clarion’s Ethan Carll with a 38, while Cranberry’s Dalton Wenner and Moniteau’s Jacob Felsing both carded 39s.
Clarion finished with a team score of 196, while Cranberry waw second at 203, Moniteau 215, and North Clarion 220.
DUBOIS TOPS BROCKWAY
DUBOIS, Pa. – Gavin Kaschalk shot a 37 to earn medalist honors and lead DuBois to a 169-199 win over Brockway.
Also for DuBois, Tyson Kennis shot a 42 and Brock Smith and Maddox Bennett 45s.
For Brockway, Weston Pisarchik shot a 46, while Troy Johnson and Jacob Newcamp each shot 50 and Evan Botwright a 53.
PREP WINS REGION 6 MEGA MATCH
ERIE, Pa. – Cathedral Prep’s Breckin Taylor shot a 74 to earn medalist honors as the Ramblers won a Region 6 mega match at Lakeshore Country Club.
McDowell had a team score of 330, followed by Erie at 336 and Warren at 337.
The Warren duo of Owen Blum and Braddock Damore finished tied for second, each carding 75s.
Also shooting in the 70s were Prep’s Matt Costa (76), Erie’s Kyle Westfall (76), Prep’s Ryan Eastbourn (78), and Corry’s Nate James (79).
