CLARION, Pa. – Clarion’s Kam Kerle shot a 39 to earn medalist honors and the Bobcats took first place in Thursday’s KSAC mega match at Clarion Oaks.
The Bobcats finished with a team score of 213, followed by Moniteau (250), Cranberry (254) and Clarion-Limestone (256).
Clarion’s Devon Lauer carded a 40 as did Moniteau’s Jacob Felsing. Clarion’s Owen Kriebel shot a 41.
HICKORY GIRLS WIN REGION 1 MATCH
KINSMAN, Ohio – Hickory’s McKenzie Gustas shot a 73 to help the Hornets to a first-place finish in the Region 1 mega match finale at Bronzewood Golf Course.
The Hornets had a team score of 231, with Reynolds coming in second at 305.
Sasha Petrochko shot a 78 and Luciana Masters an 80 for Hickory. Sharpsville’s Stacia Fennell shot an 83 and Reynolds’ Anna Harpst an 88.
CROSS COUNTRY: NORTH CLARION TRIUMPHS
FOXBURG, Pa. – North Clarion’s Kaine McFarland won in a career record time of 18:16, one minute ahead of the second-place runner, Aiden Thomas. North Clarion boys took 4 of the top 5 spots.
Brynn Siegel won the race also with a career record time of 21:36, 2:23 ahead of the second-place runner, Payton Johnson of A-C Valley.
