Cameron County’s Narby Named Week Nine District 9 Jim Kelly POW Powered by the Allegheny Grille

WARREN, Pa. – With the game and possibly Cameron County’s playoff hopes on the line in overtime against Otto-Eldred, Jacob Narby stepped to the forefront picking off a pass to seal a 28-22 win for the Red Raiders.

That is why Narby is the Week 9 2022 YDL Sports Network D9and10Sports.com Player of the Week powered by the Allegheny Grille in Foxburg.

The interception was Narby’s second of the game.

Those players are joined on the Honor Roll by Cameron County’s Maddox Baughman (13 carries, 80 yards, 3 TDs; scored game-winning TD in overtime), Otto-Eldred’s Ray’shene Thomas (6 catches, 157 yards, 1 TD), Ridgway’s Luke Zimmerman (14 carries, 218 yards, 2 TDS), Redbank Valley’s Braylon Wagner (17 of 24 passing, 221 yards, 2 TDs, 1 rushing TD), Brockway’s Brayden Fox (17 of 38 passing, 229 yards, 4 TDs, 2 interceptions), Kane’s Addison Plants (16 carries, 126 yards, 1 TD), Central Clarion’s Tommy Smith (2 interceptions), DuBois Cam-Ron Hays (7 catches, 110 yards, 1 TD), and Elk County Catholic’s Noah Cherry (138 yards rushing, 4 TDs, 1 passing TD).

Jim Kelly is the Hall of Fame quarterback of the Buffalo Bills who grew up in East Brady, Pa. and went to Miami (Fla). Kelly was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002 after passing for over 45,000 yards as a pro, including two seasons in the USFL, with 320 career touchdown passes. He led the Bills to four straight AFC Titles. Kelly’s name on the award is being used with his permission.
