Brookville’s Ruhlman Named D9 League Boys’ Basketball MVP; Co-Defensive Player of the Year

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Brookville’s Griffin Ruhlman was named the D9 League Boys’ Basketball MVP while sharing Defensive Player of the Year honors with DuBois’s Chooch Husted.

The Rookie of the Year was Elk County Catholic sophomore Jordan Wasko. The Defensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards are sponsored by the Laurel Eye Clinic.

Joining Ruhlman on the All-D9 League All-Star team are Bradford’s Cam Austin and Jake Frantz, Brookville’s Danny Lauer and Clayton Cook, DuBois’s Husted and Joey Foradora, ECC’s Charlie Breindel and Luke Jansen, and Punxsutawney’s Gabe Kengersky.
