LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Brockway graduate Zane Puhala, a junior at Lock Haven, was named the PSAC East Co-Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week.
Puhala, who shared the award with East Stroudsburg’s Lucas Marques, scored the game-tying goal for Lock Haven with 10 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime against No. 22 Bloomsburg Saturday. He also recorded an assist on the Bald Eagles’ overtime game-winning goal.
On the game-tying tally, the midfielder was on the receiving end of a free-kick scrum forcing overtime.
Marques, meanwhile, scored the game-winning goal for East Stroudsburg in the 88th minute to complete the 3-2 comeback victory over Bloomsburg earlier in the week.
