MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – For the second straight season, Clarion volleyball can lay claim to a state championship.
After a back-and-forth first set, the Lady Cats took control the rest of the way to the tune of a 3-0 (25-22, 25-13, 25-18) victory over District 1 champion Sacred Heart in the PIAA Class 1A title match.

The second set featured a 10-0 run by Clarion that helped them take control. They followed that up with a 7-1 run to start the third. Sacred Heart got to within 19-16 in the third before Clarion went on a run to close it out for their 45th straight win.
