VILLA MARIA 17, ERIE 2, 4 innings
ERIE, Pa. – Hayley Dever went 2-for-2 with two doubles and five RBIs as Villa Maria powered to a 17-2, four-inning win over Erie.
Villa did all of its damage on just nine hits, taking advantage of 14 Erie free passes.
Megan Kelly was 1-for-1 with three RBIs and three runs, while Lillie Beuchart drove in a pair of runs.
Madison Simmerman got the win, allowing one earned run on two hits, striking out nine.
SENECA 23, CONNEAUT 7, 4 innings
WATTSBURG, Pa. – Lauren Konkol went 2-for-5 with a double and six RBIs to help lead Seneca to a 23-7 win over Conneaut.
Kendall Joint was 3-for-3 with a double, four RBIs, and three runs, while Aubri Hammill, Julia Patterson, and Khyli Peterson drove in two runs each.
Seneca scored 10 runs in the fourth inning to put the game away.
Konkol got the win, allowing four earned runs in four innings on three hits, striking out eight, and walking seven.
