BROOKVILLE 12, NORTH CLARION 2, 6 INNINGS

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Jamison Rhoades went 4-for-4 with a line-drive home run, two doubles, three runs scored, and four RBIs to lead Brookville to a 12-2, six-inning win over visiting North Clarion.

Hunter Roney was also 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI for the Raiders, while Carson Weaver went 1-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI and Bryce Rafferty and Griffin Ruhlman added doubles.

Josh Daum was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored for North Clarion.

   

                  

Hunter Geer got the win going four innings allowing one unearned run on two hits and a hit batter while striking out six. Owen Caylor pitched two innings giving up an earned run on two hits while striking out three.

Aiden Hartle took the loss lasting 1 ⅔ innings allowing five runs, one earned, on four hits and a walk while striking out two. Tristian Sliker pitched ⅔ of an inning giving up six runs, four earned, on five hits and three walks while striking out one. Isaac Gilara pitched 2 ⅔ innings allowing one unearned run on four hits and two walks while striking out three.

DUBOIS 9, MONITEAU 4

DUBOIS, Pa. – Behind five extra-base hits, including a pair of Colby Estrada doubles, DuBois beat visiting Moniteau, 9-4, at Showers Field.

Estrada was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs, while Kaden Clark went 2-for-4 with a triple, a walk, and a run scored, Austin Mitchell was 1-for-3 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI, and Aaron Andrulonis was 1-for-1 with a walk, a run scored, and two RBIs.

                          

Brycen Dinkfelt got the win going six innings allowing four runs, three earned, on three walks and three hits while striking out six. Colby Clark pitched a clean inning in relief.

David Martino went 1-for-1 with a double, a walk, and two runs scored for Moniteau.

Brock Matthews took the loss going two innings and giving up seven earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out one. Carson Ritts pitched four innings allowing two earned runs on one hit and three walks while striking out one.

REDBANK VALLEY 12, A-C VALLEY/UNION 2, 6 INNINGS

               

FAIRMOUNT CITY, Pa. – Tate Minich drove in three runs and Breckin Minich had three hits to lift Redbank Valley to a 12-2, six-inning win over visiting A-C Valley/Union.

Tate Minich was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored, and Breckin Minich went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.

Also for the Bulldogs, Tyler Hetrick was 2-for-5 2ith an RBI, Mason Clouse was 1-for-2 with a triple, a walk, two runs scored, and an RBI, and Cam Wagner and Peyton Rearick each scored twice.

Ryan Cooper went 3-for-3 with a double and two runs scored for the Falcon Knights with Max Lowrey going 2-for-3.

Wagner got the win going six innings allowing two runs, one earned, on eight hits and a walk while striking out nine.

Cooper took the loss pitching 3 ⅓ innings allowing six runs, one earned, on five hits, three walks, and a hit batter while striking out three. Gary Amsler pitched a ⅓ of an inning allowing one earned run on two hits and a hit batter, and Bailey Crissman pitched 1 ⅓ innings allowing five runs, three earned, on six hits and two walks while striking out one.

CURWENSVILLE 12, BROCKWAY 2, 6 INNINGS

CURWENSVILLE, Pa. – Spencer Hoover went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI to help Curwensville beat visiting Brockway, 12-2, in six innings.

Tyler Lee drove in four runs for the Golden Tide while going 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored, and Logan Kunkle was 1-for-1 with three walks, an RBI, and two runs scored.

Matthew Brubaker went 2-for-4 with a run scored for Brockway with Marcus Bennett driving in a run.

            

Curwensville used three pitchers with the middle one, Shane Sunderlin, getting the win. Sunderlin went three innings allowing two unearned runs on three hits and two hit batters while striking out four.

Jake Mullins started for the Tide and pitched two perfect innings striking out four.

Tyler Libby pitched a scoreless inning allowing a hit, a walk, and a hit batter while striking out two.

Andrew Brubaker suffered the loss going 2 ⅓ innings allowing eight runs, six earned, on four hits, five walks, and a hit batter while striking out one. Chad Young pitched three innings giving up four runs, two earned, on six hits and two walks while striking out one.

COUDERSPORT 22, GALETON 1, 3 INNINGS

GALETON, Pa. – Jacob Hooftallen drove in three runs to help visiting Coudersport to a 22-1, three-inning win over Galeton.

Hooftallen, the Austin High product playing in the co-op, was 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored.

Garrett Kellert (1-for-2, 1 3B, 3 runs), Gavyn Ayers (2-for-3, 1 2B, 1 run), and Owen Deutschlander (1-for-3, 1 3B, 3 runs) each added a pair of RBIs for the Falcons, and Wyatt Daisley was 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Blayk Risser had the lone hit in the game for Galeton with Troy Kalacinski scoring the Tigers’ run.

Ayers got the win going two innings allowing a hit batter while striking out one. Mason Roessner pitched an inning for Coudy giving up an earned run on one hit while striking out one.

Devin Stahley took the loss going two innings allowing 15 runs, five earned, on six hits, six walks, and a hit batter.

PORT ALLEGANY 15, OSWAYO VALLEY 4, 5 INNINGS

SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. – Drew Evens and Noah Archer each had two RBIs in a 15-4, five-inning win for visiting Port Allegany over Oswayo Valley.

Evens was 2-for-3 with a walk and three runs scored, and Archer went 1-for-4 with a run scored.

Also for the Gators, Henry Troupe was 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI, and Payton Spencer went 1-for-1 with two walks, an RBI, and three runs scored.

Ty Guilds got the win going four innings allowing two runs, both earned, on four hits, two walks, and a hit batter while striking out five. Jacob Causer pitched one inning allowing two runs, one earned, on one hit and two walks.

Alek Harmon went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Oswayo Valley while Ian Bilski was 1-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored, and Brayden Wiley scored twice while walking twice.

Cayden Black took the loss going 2 ⅓ innings allowing eight runs, five earned, on five hits, two walks, and a hit batter while striking out two.

Gaige Hohenwarter pitched 1 ⅔ innings allowing six earned runs on six hits and two walks, Nikolas Bonney pitched one scoreless inning striking out one, and Caiden Goode didn’t record an out allowing one earned run on one hit.

SMETHPORT 9, OTTO-ELDRED 0

SMETHPORT, Pa. – Alex Ognen and Brandon Higley combined on a three-hit shutout, as Smethport picked up a 9-0 home win over Otto-Eldred.

Ognen got the win going five innings allowing one hit, two walks, and a hit batter while striking out 10, and Higley pitched two scoreless innings allowing two hits while striking out two.

Higley was the hero at the plate for the Hubbers going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored, while Noah Lent was 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Ognen helped his own cause going 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, a run scored, and two RBIs, and Brenton McDowell was 1-for-2 with a double and two runs scored.

Calvin Minich was 1-for-3 with a double for Otto-Eldred.

Max Splain took the loss pitching 4 ⅓ innings allowing three runs, two earned, on three hits and a walk while striking out seven. Minich gave up five earned runs on four hits, two walks, and two hit batters in one inning of work, and Austin Cousins went ⅔ of an inning allowing one unearned run on two hits.
