TIONESTA, Pa. – Ethan Carll shot a 40 to help lead A-C Valley to a win over Cranberry and Forest Area.
A-C Valley finished with a team score of 227, while Cranberry shot a 240 and Forest a 258.
Zeelan Hargenrader had a 42 for A-C Valley, Dane Wenner a 42 for Cranberry, and Ty Brown a 43 for Forest
DUBOIS EDGES DCC
DUBOIS, Pa. – Tyson Kennis and Brock Smith both carded 41s to lead DuBois to a 176-194 win over DuBois Central Catholic.
Also for DuBois, Hunter Allman had a 46, Gavin Kaschalk 48, Maddox Bennett 54, and Nick Volpe 59.
For DCC, Tristan Sedor led the way with a 46, while Aiden Snowberger had a 48, Kyan Peck a 49, Trent Miller 51, and Peyton Suplizio 56.
MONITEAU GIRLS TRIUMPH
KOSSUTH, Pa. – Cranberry’s Brooke Whitling shot a 42 to earn medalist honors and Moniteau finished first in the team standings at 137 at a KSAC match at Hi-Level.
For Moniteau, Emma Covert and Mariska Shunk both shot 44s, while Autumn Stewart shot a 49 and Kendall Sankey a 52.
Cranberry had a team score of 140 as Alaina Hogue shot a 48 and Kendall Findlay a 50.
NORTH CLARION, KARNS CITY COMPETE IN CROSS COUNTRY
Senior, Katie Bauer of North Clarion won the girls’ race and senior Kaine McFarland of North Clarion won the boys’ race, followed by teammate Aiden Thomas. The North Clarion girls and Karns City boys don’t have enough runners to score the meet.
