PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – District 9 has set the locations and times for the District 9 Class 1A boys’ and girls’ basketball semifinals.

Girls’ semifinal action will take place Tuesday, March 1, at Kane High School with action getting underway at 6 p.m. between third-seeded Otto-Eldred and second-seeded North Clarion. Then, at 8 p.m., top-seeded Elk County Catholic takes on fifth-seeded Ridgway.
The boys’ semifinals will be Wednesday, March 2, at Clarion University’s Tippin Gym.
Action gets underway at 6 p.m. when third-seeded DuBois Central Catholic faces second-seeded Otto-Eldred. The action then continues at 7:30 p.m. with top-seeded Elk County Catholic facing fifth-seeded North Clarion.
Earlier in the week, it was announced that the Class 2A boys’ semifinals would be held Tuesday, March 1, at Brookville High School with top-seeded Redbank Valley taking on fifth-seeded Keystone at 7:30 p.m. and second-seeded Ridgway facing third-seeded Karns City at 6 p.m.
The Class 4A title games will also be Tuesday with the girls’ contest between second-seeded Clearfield and to-seeded St. Marys at 6 p.m. followed by the boys’ title game between second-seeded Punxsutawney and top-seeded Clearfield at 7:30 p.m.
