Q&A

Q: What was the first sport you played? Why did you play it? Did you like it?
A: The first sport I ever played was baseball and I instantly fell in love. It started with tee-ball. I played because my family has always been a baseball family throughout many generations.

Q: What is the most important factor in you being successful in high school athletics?
A: The most important factor for me is putting the time in. You have to work more than just high school practice to become successful. It’s important to go work on your game outside of just practice. Also getting good rest has always done well for me.

Q: What is your favorite non-sports “go-to” activity?
A: I love hunting and fishing. They are my two favorite hobbies to do outside of sports.

Q: You could meet one sports figure, living or dead (1) who would it be and (2) what is the first thing you would ask them?
A: I would choose Chipper Jones because he’s my favorite baseball player of all time. I’m a huge Braves fan and the first thing I would ask him is what was important for him/what helped him most to be successful.

Q: What is your favorite sport and if you could change one thing about your favorite sport, what would it be?
A: Baseball is for sure my favorite sport. I wouldn’t change much of anything because it is a great game but if I had to choose something, I’d want the MLB to get rid of the extra-inning rule where a runner starts on second base.

Q: If you could eat any food in the world right now, what would it be?
A: I’d want to eat ice cream. I love anything sweet and you can never go wrong with ice cream.

Q: What is your ideal vacation spot?
A: My ideal vacation spot would be Montana/Yellowstone. I’ve already been there and it is a fantastic area out west!

Q: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the question/answer?
A: Nope, nothing I can think of. Thank you!
