2020-21 Highlights: Softball: First-team All-conference KSAC, First-team All-District 9 by D9and10Sports.com at SS, and Second-team All -State. Volleyball: Second team All-conference KSAC. Averaged 8.1 ppg in basketball. Hit .656 with 13 extra-base hits (7 3B, 6 2B), 28 RBIs, 22 runs scored in softball. Went to playoffs in volleyball, basketball, and softball. We also made it to state playoffs for softball.
College Athletics plan if applicable: I plan on going to college for a sport, but I haven’t committed anywhere.
Q&A With Kendall Dunn
D9and10Sports: How did you first get involved in sports and did you like it?
A: I first got involved in sports when I was very young and fell in love with them ever since. I couldn’t pick one over the other.
D9and10Sports: Who has been your biggest influence in life and why?
A: My biggest influencers in life are my parents. I wouldn’t be where I am without them. They are my number one fans and they would drop anything just for me to be happy and succeed. They support me no matter what I do and they are great people to look up to. I love them so much
D9and10Sports: What is your favorite high school sports memory?
A: My favorite memory in high school sports is being able to be a part of a softball team that went to farthest in C-L history. Winning 2nd place in our single A division and going to state playoffs. It was such a great experience with amazing teammates.
D9and10Sports: What is your favorite social media platform and why?
A: My favorite social media platform is Snapchat because it keeps me connected to my friends.
D9and10Sports: What would someone who is meeting you for the first time be surprised to find out about you?
A: They would be surprised that I hunt and I love boating.
D9and10Sports: If there was one period in history you could go back to, what would it be and why?
A: If I would have to go back in time, I would definitely pick the 1980’s. It had the best music and there was less technology to surround ourselves with.
D9and10Sports: What will you tell your kids someday about living through the COVID-19 pandemic?
A: I would tell them that life is too short to worry about the little things and isolate yourself. They need to live their lives as best as they can and make the best memories for themselves.
D9and10Sports: What is your ideal place to live? Country, City, Suburb and why?
A: My ideal place to live is somewhere in the country. It is just very peaceful and I have grown up loving it. I couldn’t imagine myself living anywhere else
D9and10Sports: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the answer?
A: Yes. Do I have any pets? Yes, I do! I have one dog and two cats. And what is my favorite sports team to watch? I love watching FSU college softball.
