2020-21 Highlights: All-State for the second and third times for football, All-Conference for football, All-Conference in Track and Field for the high jump,long jump, and 4×100. I may have missed something. Coach said this year I guess I became the most decorated football player in our school’s 98-year history. I guess that’s pretty cool too.
College Athletics plan if applicable: I do plan on playing a sport in college, either track or football but I haven’t decided where yet.

Q&A With Joe Mansfield

            

D9and10Sports: How did you first get involved in sports and did you like it?
A: I first got involved into sports because I wanted to try something new and I liked it.

D9and10Sports: Who has been your biggest influence in life and why?
A:. My parents have been my biggest influence teaching me the rights and wrongs. And being hard on me pushing me to be great.

D9and10Sports: What is your favorite high school sports memory?
A: I’d have to say my favorite high school sports memory was winning the D9 title in football.

D9and10Sports: What is your favorite social media platform and why?
A: I don’t really have a favorite social media platform, I don’t use social media a lot.

D9and10Sports: What would someone who is meeting you for the first time be surprised to find out about you?
A: They would be surprised by the fact that I’m very laid back and the fact that I don’t really talk much.

D9and10Sports: If there was one period in history you could go back to, what would it be and why?
A: I would probably go back in time before electricity was invited to see how life was before it.

D9and10Sports: What will you tell your kids someday about living through the COVID-19 pandemic?
A: I will tell them it was boring with all the shutdowns and it caused a lot of problems in the world. And that it was really dangerous for many people.

D9and10Sports: What is your ideal place to live? Country, City, Suburb and why?
A: I would like to live out in the country. It’s quiet and peaceful. Living life at a slower pace breathing in the fresh air and you can own as much land as you can afford.

D9and10Sports: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the answer?
A: I can’t think of anything.
