Q&A With Emma Chambers

D9and10Sports: How did you first get involved in sports and did you like it?
A: I first got into sports by playing basketball with my older siblings. I enjoyed growing up playing with them.

D9and10Sports: Who has been your biggest influence in life and why?
A: The biggest influence in my parents and my siblings. This is because they have inspired me to do certain things that I now love like basketball and other sports. My family also pushes me to be the best person that I can be.

D9and10Sports: What is your favorite high school sports memory?
A: My favorite memory is either winning the D9 Championship my freshman year or winning the Sweet Sixteen game that year. I loved the championship game because it came down to the final seconds and was so exciting. The Sweet Sixteen game was fun starting in a state playoff game as a freshman & our team played very well.

D9and10Sports: What is your favorite social media platform and why?
A: My favorite social media platform would be Tik Tok because I enjoy watching the videos made by all different creators.

D9and10Sports: What would someone who is meeting you for the first time be surprised to find out about you?
A: Something that would surprise someone who has never met me would be that I started skiing when I was around 5 years old.

D9and10Sports: If there was one period in history you could go back to, what would it be and why?
A: A time period I would want to live in would be when Elliot Ness lived in Coudy because I think that it would be a pretty cool experience.

D9and10Sports: What will you tell your kids someday about living through the COVID-19 pandemic?
A: I will tell them to make sure they don’t take anything for granted.

D9and10Sports: What is your ideal place to live? Country, City, Suburb and why?
A: I would like to live in the suburbs. I would like to be close to a city but still be smaller since I grew up in a small town.
