Q&A With Damon Curry
D9and10Sports: How did you first get involved in sports and did you like it?
A: When I was little my mom forced me to play as many sports as I could I’m so thankful for her persistence now because that turned me into the athlete I am today.
D9and10Sports: Who has been your biggest influence in life and why?
A: My biggest influence in life has to be my mom and that’s because she has inspired me to know that I can do anything I set my mind to and break all the barriers in front of me.
D9and10Sports: What is your favorite high school sports memory?
A: I have only had one varsity season but my favorite memory from it was for sure winning D10. Such an awesome feeling but at the same time knowing we had a state playoff game the next week.
D9and10Sports: What is your favorite social media platform and why?
A: My favorite social media platform is probably Snapchat and that’s because I can contact all my friends super easy and it’s cool how you can use filters and stuff.
D9and10Sports: What would someone who is meeting you for the first time be surprised to find out about you?
A: Someone would be surprised to find out that my voice is kinda high for a big dude. I look nothing at all what I sound like.
D9and10Sports: If there was one period in history you could go back to, what would it be and why?
A: If I could go back in history it would probably be like 10 years before I was born and I would invent the iPhone before it was invented so that I could be the Steve Jobs before Steve Jobs.
D9and10Sports: What will you tell your kids someday about living through the COVID-19 pandemic?
A: I will probably tell my kids that it was one of the craziest periods of my life and it sucked staying at home but I found really cool ways to keep myself sane.
D9and10Sports: What is your ideal place to live? Country, City, Suburb and why?
A: My ideal place to live would probably be the place I am right now which is a super small city in a cool neighborhood with all my friends as neighbors.
D9and10Sports: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the answer?
A: I think the questions were great and you don’t really need to add anything.
