Q&A With Ben Gritzer
D9and10Sports: How did you first get involved in sports and did you like it?
A: My dad would always watch baseball on Tv and asked me if I wanted to play when I was 4 I said yes and we went on from there.
D9and10Sports: Who has been your biggest influence in life and why?
A: Definitely my Parents. My Dad pushed me to be the best I can and to work for everything. My Mom has always been supportive and encouraging.
D9and10Sports: What is your favorite high school sports memory?
A: Beating Elk County Catholic for the D9 baseball title my sophomore year (2021).
D9and10Sports: What is your favorite social media platform and why?
A: Instagram because it’s easy to use.
D9and10Sports: What would someone who is meeting you for the first time be surprised to find out about you?
A: I enjoy hunting, skeet shooting, and disc golfing.
D9and10Sports: If there was one period in history you could go back to, what would it be and why?
A: I’d go back to the Wild West just to experience what life was like.
D9and10Sports: What will you tell your kids someday about living through the COVID-19 pandemic?
A: Not to take anything for granted. The pandemic took away the things we love the most and we aren’t getting that time back.

A: Country, like out in Wyoming in the mountains.
