Q&A With Avery Brunot
D9and10Sports: How did you first get involved in sports and did you like it?
A: My parents always pushed that it was important to be active and my family has very strong roots in the volleyball community around here so it was almost expected to play.
D9and10Sports: Who has been your biggest influence in life and why?
A: My dad’s probably my biggest influence because he’s a hard worker and puts everything he can into what he does.
D9and10Sports: What is your favorite high school sports memory?
A: Probably winning districts last year.
D9and10Sports: What is your favorite social media platform and why?
A: I like to use Snapchat because I can not only text my friends but we can easily send pictures back and forth with each other.
D9and10Sports: What would someone who is meeting you for the first time be surprised to find out about you?
A: That I’m not as shy as I come off I just have to warm up to you before I act more like myself around you
D9and10Sports: If there was one period in history you could go back to, what would it be and why?
A: Probably the 1920’s because of the stories I hear about the lifestyle and how women dressed back then
D9and10Sports: What will you tell your kids someday about living through the COVID-19 pandemic?
A: The health of others is more important than your own comfort, and to keep in contact with your friends.
D9and10Sports: What is your ideal place to live? Country, City, Suburb and why?
A: Somewhere warm with a beach.
D9and10Sports: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the answer?
A: Maybe something about what I want to do with my future and the answer is I want to become a traveling nurse.
