Head coach: Jay Acker

2019-20 Record: 13-10

Playoffs: Lost to Ridgway, 50-27, in D9 2A quarterfinals

Top returning players: Layne Shall (Sr., PG, 10.1 ppg), Richie McDowell (Sr., F, 7.0 ppg), Noah Lent (Jr., F, 8.2 ppg, Will miss the season with an injury), Alex Ognen (Jr., G, 4.8 ppg in 16 games; He is going to be our biggest breakout player this year. He is a scrappy player who has the ability to knock down long-range shots)

Top players lost: Connor Alfieri (6.9 ppg), Hunter Helsley (5.5 ppg)

Key newcomers: Brandon Higley (Jr., G), John Adamoski (Jr., C)

Keys to the season: We need to be patient on offense and execute our plays. We need to have our newcomers step up and be big contributors this year.

Things your team is doing during the COVID-19 pause of winter sports: We are just trying to stay positive through this. We have already been contact traced as a team. Keeping the players upbeat and optimistic really is our focus. Trying to get everyone’s conditioning back is going to be the biggest struggle.
