Rounding out the roster are Fr Peyton Bailey, Fr Paris Foster and Jr Bella Lyon. Hopefully, we get the chance to see our lone sophomore, Alexa Whipple, return to the court from injury.

Keys to the season:

  1. Going into my second season, One issue we as a program have is the constant revolving door of underclassmen playing one season and not the next, this type of action is detrimental to our goal of turning this program around.
  2. It will take time for us to gel as one. Everyone needs to play with confidence, we are going to make mistakes, learn from them and move on.
  3. PATIENCE in all areas, pass up a good shot to get your teammate a great shot, make the extra pass.
  4. BELIEVE in each other and what we want to do as a team!!!

Things your team was doing during the COVID-19 pause of winter sports: I’ve communicated with my captain Lily Lauffenburger on occasion.  When you lose your offseason due to COVID, especially when you’re trying to bring a new culture to a struggling program it’s detrimental. This game is tuff to play, it’s a year-round commitment. I’m extremely proud of my team.  I think they’ve handled this entire Covid situation the best that they could have given the circumstances.
